A quick check with the iTunes App Store has turned up the availability of Facebook version 3.3.3 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The new release promises to improve reliability with chat, messages, and notifications, as well as to restore the ability to post a page that users administer, to name a few noteworthy changes.

A free application for iOS devices, “Facebook for iPhone makes it easy to stay connected and share information with friends,” the company behind the popular social service states.

“Use your iPhone to start a conversation with Facebook Chat, check your friends' latest photos and status updates, look up a phone number, or upload your own mobile photos to Facebook while on the go,” the app’s description goes.

Updated to version 3.3.3 today, Facebook for iOS delivers improvements across key aspects of the app, including chat and messages, notifications, memory usage, group photos, Places, and more. The changelog for Facebook 3.3.3 can be found below.

Suprisingly, Facebook is yet to come up with an iPad native version of the app.

Available in the Social Networking section of the iTunes App Store, Facebook 3.3.3 weighs in at  4.2 MB, and supports several different languages, including English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 3.0 or later.
