A new Beta development milestone of Windows Live Messenger Wave 4 is now available for download from Microsoft. Of course, the new Beta of Windows Live Messenger is by no means alone. Along with it, the software giant has released a fresh preview for the entire Windows Live Essentials Wave 4 suite.
At the time of this article, the Redmond company has yet to announce officially the availability of a new testing release of Windows Live Messenger Wave 4, or for the remaining clients bundled in the next generation of Windows Live Essentials.
Still,
if recent speculation was correct, and all signs point to the fact that this is indeed the case, Microsoft is bound to announce the new testing release of Windows Live Essentials Wave 4 later today.
For the time being, early adopters that don’t want to wait until Microsoft’s official announcement can already download the latest Beta of Windows Live Essentials Wave 4, including the IM client.

It’s too early to tell at which stage in the development process Windows Live Essentials Wave 4 has come to.
Common sense tells us that considering the fact that Microsoft released only the initial Beta of Essentials Wave 4 thus far, the latest Build is either Beta 2 or the Release Candidate (RC).
This is of course also valid for the next iteration of the Redmond company’s instant messaging client.
However, the Beta Refresh label is certainly better suited to describe the new development milestone, at least until Microsoft is ready to share some details on the new Build.
Early adopters that have been testing Windows Live Essentials Wave 4 since it was initially introduced in the second half of June 2010, know that the release was Build 15.3.2804.607.
The latest Build of Windows Live Essentials Wave 4 is 15.4.3001.0809, 15.4.3002.0810 for the IM client.
