Rockstar Games has just released a brand new update for Max Payne 3, its latest third-person shooter, this time fixing a variety of issues including invisible players, or situations where users could get stuck in cover.

Max Payne 3 was released back in May and, while its single-player campaign did cause some tension among the loyal fans of the franchise, it's multiplayer mode has generated a lot of interest across all of the title's platforms.

After hearing that a brand new downloadable content pack will hit the multiplayer mode next week, on December 4, in the form of the Painful Memories DLC, Rockstar has now confirmed that a fresh patch for Max Payne 3 has just gone live.

The new update fixes quite a few glitches encountered by users in the multiplayer mode, from invisible characters, to getting stuck in cover or being unable to access certain game modes.

You can check out the full list of fixes and improvements included in the latest Max Payne 3 update below, via the Rockstar Newswire.

The Kill screen now shows what weapon and burst the enemy used to kill you Fixed an issue where players would occasionally get stuck in cover Fixed an issue where players would occasionally appear invisible Fixed an issue where game modes could appear to be over 100% full Fixed an issue where occasionally a Loadout slot could overwrite another Loadout slot at the start of a round of Gang Wars Fixed an issue where a party would have trouble loading into a new game after a party member had left

Rockstar has emphasized that its technical support team is still paying close attention to feedback from fans and will fix any issues that will be reported by Max Payne 3 players, especially those who engage in the multiplayer mode.

The new update should be available for download right now across the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.
