National Geographic Society has announced an important update for readers of National Geographic Traveler Magazine on iPad. Version 1.6 delivers print subscriber integration, background downloading, and minor bug fixes.
Announced this week by the National Geographic Society, subscriptions to the National Geographic Traveler magazine for iPad users are now available.
iPad owners can immediately download National Geographic Traveler magazine on their tablet device and can get a sample issue for free.
National Geographic Traveler Magazine version 1.6 delivers print subscriber integration, the ability to perform background downloads, as well as a few minor bug fixes to make the app more stable and reliable.
Interactive iPad content for the December 2012/January 2013 issue of National Geographic Traveler magazine includes a comprehensive photo gallery of marine reserves, a Map feature that lets you tap to read each stop along the road trip in the Florida Keys, a 360-degree photo of the famous Taj Mahal, traveler tips, and more.
