After having updated its Beta drivers for
GeForce consumer graphics cards, Santa Clara, California-based NVIDIA has recently refreshed the set of drivers for its line of Quadro graphics products, focused on the professional graphics market. The new 182.65
version is WHQL-certified and delivers support for some of the latest Quadro products coming from the leading GPU maker. In addition to the support for the latest Quadro FX GPUs, NVIDIA's new set of drivers will boost the performance of current workstation applications.
NVIDIA's Quadro line has been designed to provide workstation and professional users with a choice for a high-performance graphics chip that can support and increase the performance of the latest workstation applications. With each driver update, the chip maker tries to enable an increase in performance and fix some of the known issues with various applications that require the use of professional GPUs. The latest Quadro driver release makes no exception from the rule and comes to provide support for NVIDIA's line of Quadro GPUs, also increasing the performance provided in some workstation applications.
Additionally, inside the new Quadro 182.65 WHQL-certified set of drivers, users will be provided with performance drivers for AutoCAD and 3ds Max, which enable increased performance through auto-detection. These new drivers add support for three latest versions of the aforementioned applications, according to NVIDIA. In addition, they enable support for DDC-Ci/MCCS over DisplayPort AUX Channel and add 10-bits per color (10bpc) DisplayPort support for full-screen applications.
