Today NVIDIA released its 314.22 version of the GeForce Game Ready driver for BioShock Infinite, which increases the in-game performance by up to 41%. Moreover, games like Tomb Raider, Sniper Elite V2, and Sleeping Dogs have faster gameplay with an increase of 60, 23, and 13 percent, respectively.

The percentages mentioned above are valid for the GeForce GTX 680 Graphics Card, but that’s not the only card that applies to this version. The GeForce 400, 500, and 600 Series GPU are more powerful with this driver, compared to the 314.07 package.

The driver adds or updates SLI profiles for games like MUD, Brutal Legend, Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite, Dungeons and Dragons: Neverwinter, or Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army.

As for fixes, since the previous 314.21 version, the driver will not crash when enabling V-Sync with SLI mode on during gameplay, and the GeForce GT 218M will not show a black-screen when installing the driver. In addition, the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim game will not freeze and give a white-screen, followed by a blue-screen crash on the GeForce GT 650M card.

Along with the fixes, additions and improvements, the package installs the PhysX System Software 9.12.1031 and HD Audio Driver 1.3.23.1 as well.

When it comes to the driver update, before you begin, you must know that it is recommended that you uninstall nTune and make a system configuration backup so that no problems occurs.
