NVIDIA has completed its latest version of the GeForce graphics driver, one that claims to bring dramatic performance improvements in some of the most popular games of our time.

People who own one of NVIDIA's graphics adapters, especially the GeForce 400 and 500 series, will definitely want to download this newest driver package.

After all, it is not every day that a software boasts about improving the performance of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim by 45%.

Indeed, that was written correctly. The driver actually claims to possess the ability to run the game better by almost half compared to before.

This isn't the only boost either. Since Mass Effect 3 is also fully supported, NVIDIA took pains to get it to run twice as well on SLI configurations (multi-card setups).

Diablo III got special treatment too: the Santa Clara, California-based company managed to implement ambient occlusion.

Speaking of this feature, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 got it too. Granted, this was part of the 290 driver as well, but the list of benefits doesn't end here.

Some games now have SLI profiles, or got updates to them:

Mass Effect 3 Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning The Darkness II F1 2011 Oil Rush Red Faction: Armageddon 7554 Trine 2 WRC 2: FIA World Rally Championship 2011 Afterfall: InSanity. ArcheAge Core Blaze

There is also a sizable list of titles whose 3D Vision support (including 3D Vision windowed mode on DLP HDTVs and on “Optimized for GeForce” passive 3D monitors) has been either enabled or enhanced. Check the change logs for the complete lists.
