Thunderbird 13 has been released recently and, as usual, the list of modifications is not generous. But this time around the new features are quite interesting, as they touch on the size of the attachment you can send and on the personalization of your email address.

The new release lets you send larger attachments by uploading your files to YouSendIt, an online storage service, and relaying the share link to the recipient. In time, more partners will be added.

Personalized email address is the second new feature added to Thunderbird. By partnering up with Gandi and Hover, Mozilla offers the possibility to sign up for a custom email address. Customization also includes the domain name. Of course, this comes for a price, as you can see from the image in the gallery below.

Apart from this, Thunderbird 13 changes the minimum system requirements for Windows (XP Service Pack 2 or later) and integrates security fixes.
