A dedicated version of Mozilla Firefox for Windows 8 isn’t quite a new thing, as rumors concerning such a browser have been around for a while, but Mozilla finally decided to roll out an early preview this morning.

The nightly build can be downloaded and installed by all Windows 8 users, with the new browser obviously featuring a Modern UI interface to be accessed via the Start Screen.

Simply said, it launches and runs just like the “Metro” Internet Explorer, so it provides two different versions: one for the Modern UI and another one for the desktop.

Of course, it’s not recommended to use it as your default browser, as the project is still in development stage, so you may encounter some bugs and performance issues.

Still, if you wish to give it a try, you can find the downloadable early preview right here on Softpedia.
