A new beta of Firefox 29 was released today featuring code corrections and minor tweaks that avid testers will welcome with their arms wide open. Mozilla continues its focus on customization and the browser’s sync feature.

Firefox 29 is scheduled to reach Stable status in a few weeks, but Mozilla continues to churn out betas to improve on the browser’s sync feature (powered by Firefox Accounts), customization features, and the user interface.

The new Firefox Sync makes it easier to set up and add multiple devices with end-to-end encryption, and customization mode is just two clicks away, behind in the new “Menu” button. Users can manually drag and drop their favorite tools and add-ons in the browser and have them at hand during browsing sessions.

The menu panel includes browser controls, favorite features and add-ons in a single space, and tabs have a different shape, sit higher in the browser and are not in use when you’re in a different tab. The bookmark manager has been moved next to the bookmark star.

Firefox requires a 64-bit processor, at least 512MB of RAM and at least 200MB of hard disk space.
