On November 19, Mozilla has uploaded the final bits of the Mozilla Firefox 17.0 web browser for all supported platforms, including Linux, Mac OS X and Windows.

Highlights of Mozilla Firefox 17.0:

· Support for Facebook Messenger; · Implemented click-to-play blocklisting, in order to stop any malicious plugins from running without the user's permission; · Awesome Bar now features larger icons for a better experience; · JavaScript Sets and Maps were made iterable; · Implemented SVG StrokePaint and FillPaint; · Easier-to-use Web Developer tools, such as Developer Toolbar, Web Console and Debugger; · Easy editing of DOM, thanks to the new Markup panel from the Page Inspector; · Implemented Sandbox attribute for iframes, for better security; · New Tab page improvements; · Fixed pointer lock issues with Web Apps; · Fixed page scrolling issues with web pages that have fixed headers; · Over 20 other small improvements!
