Warner Bros. has already launched Mortal Kombat X on iOS platform. In fact, Apple fans got the game first, ahead of PC gamers.

Developer NetherRealm mentioned at the time of release that the Android version will follow soon. However, it's been almost a month and Mortal Kombat X for Android is not yet available to everyone.

Even though the game is now listed on Google Play Store, only users living in certain countries and owning supported devices can download the game.

However, if you simply can't wait for Warner Bros. to make Mortal Kombat X available in all countries, here is a short tutorial that will allow you to download the game regardless of where you live.

Step-by-step guide

1. Download Hola Free VPN on your phone from Google Play store; 2. Restart your phone; 3. After your phone boots up, open Hola application; 4. Go to your apps, find Google Play Store and click open (on the side, a little pop-up will show where you can change country etc.; click on it and change the country to the Philippines); 5. It will require a restart, so changes can apply; 6. Close Google Play Store and go into your phone settings and click on accounts, then tap on Google and create a new account; 7. Once the account is made, go back into Hola application and open up the Google Play Store again. The new account should be saved to the Philippines Play Store; 8. Once Google Play Store opens, click on the side menu, change the account to your new account and search for Mortal Kombat X, and it should show up.

After you download the game and open it once, you can then go back and switch Google Play Store to your original account.

Mortal Kombat X will now work without any issues, even if it's not available for your initial Google Play Store account.
