With less than 5 million downloads on Google Play store, Minecraft Pocket Edition is not really among the most popular Android games out there.

The main reason might be the fact that Android fans have to pay in order to be able download and install this game. Nevertheless, those who are acquainted with the PC version of Minecraft know what to expect from this title.

However, Mojang, creator of the popular PC title, has just released a new update that brings new content into the mix, as well as some improvements and bug fixes.

The latest update for Minecraft adds baby animals, signs, armor, and fancy clouds, along with lots of new blocks. The sand and gravel now have gravity and the D-pad has been improved.

Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.6.0 is now available for download for $6/€5 via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
