Microsoft has recently rolled out the Security Release ISO Image for April 2013, thus providing system administrators with an easy solution for quick deployment of the latest Windows patches.

As you probably heard by now, Microsoft has rolled out 9 different security bulletins as part of this month’s Patch Tuesday, addressing 13 different vulnerabilities, two of which have been labeled critical.

The Security Release ISO Image comprises Windows updates exclusively and does not offer patches for any other Microsoft products, such as the Surface tablets.

Of course, the included fixes are aimed not only at Windows XP, Vista, and 7 operating systems, but also at Windows 8 and Windows RT, both of which have received “moderate” updates this month, including patches supposed to resolve Internet Explorer 10 vulnerabilities.
