Download Microsoft Security Compliance Manager 2 (SCM 2)

Microsoft has released version 2 of a solution accelerator designed to streamline security-related management work.

Microsoft Security Compliance Manager 2 (SCM 2) is now available for download, free of charge, just as it was the case for its predecessor.

IT professionals can take advantage of the Microsoft Security Compliance Manager 2 in concert with technologies such as Group Policy and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, in order to administer a range of resources.

Management tasks can involve computers but also servers, data centers and even private Clouds, according to the software giant, and cover such technologies such as Windows, Office, and Internet Explorer.

“SCM 2 provides ready-to-deploy policies and DCM configuration packs that are tested and fully supported. Our product baselines are based on Microsoft Security Guide recommendations and industry best practices, allowing you to manage configuration drift, address compliance requirements, and reduce security threats,” Microsoft reveals.
