Microsoft has released an updated version of its Remote Desktop software for Mac users, with the ability to switch between custom or OS X native full screen mode, among other things.

Available for free on any Snow Leopard Mac, Microsoft Remote Desktop 8.0.24308 now lets you choose between custom or OS X native full screen mode, and includes a crash fix, as well as other small enhancements.

Similar to Apple’s own Remote Desktop utility, Microsoft Remote Desktop 8 enables users to quickly connect to a remote computer running a Windows 8 PC and control it.

The software offers remote computing through a secure connection using the Network Layer Authentication (NLA) technology.

The UI provides simple management tools for all your connections, while the preferences hide numerous types of options for access to various remote resources. Download Microsoft Remote Desktop 8.0.24308 from Softpedia today.
