Microsoft Photo Info 1.0 is a tool designed to enable the management of metadata properties in digital photographs directly from Windows Explorer. Microsoft Photo Info 1.0 requires users that they validate their copy of Windows XP. Following installation, users will be able to access Microsoft Photo Info 1.0 by right clicking on any image in Windows Explorer.

Photo Info 1.0 permits users to manage the metadata information for a single image or for an array of pictures. In order to view or modify the metadata of a group of images simply select all of them, right click on an image while the multiple selection is still active and choose Photo Info.

"Microsoft Photo Info allows photographers to add, change and delete common "metadata" properties for digital photographs from inside Windows Explorer. When installed, a new "Photo Info" item appears on the context menu for files selected in Windows Explorer. To use, simply select one or more image files, right-click and choose "Photo Info" to open the Photo Info properties editor. You can edit metadata for files individually, or all together as a batch," reads a fragment of the Photo Info 1.0 description.

Photo Info 1.0 delivers support for 32-bit versions of Windows XP service pack 2 and is compatible with metadata written in IPTC and XMP formats. Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 runtime has also to be installed in order for Photo Info 1.0 to work.

Users will be able to add a multitude of data details to their images in fields spread across five tabs: Description, Keywords, Origin, Advanced and Details.

Microsoft Photo Info 1.0 was tested by Softpedia as being 100% Free and is available for download here.
