In case you’re looking for a full-featured media player for Windows 8, you may be pleased to hear that MediaMonkey has just landed in the Store and is available for users of Microsoft’s latest OS.

The app comes with a great feature package that includes dedicated options to manage music, audiobooks, podcasts, and videos, but also with support for the commonly-used formats, such as MP3, MP4, OGG, FLAC and WMA.

One of the best features available in the app is called MediaMonkey Sync that keeps tracks, metadata, play history, and bookmarks synchronized with your desktop.

MediaMonkey works on the desktop versions of Windows 8, but also on Windows RT tablets, so Surface RT owners can download and install it just fine.
