The folks over at Maxthon have just released a new update for their Android browser, which is confirmed to bring important improvements and a single new feature.

According to the official changelog, Maxthon for Android now features History timeline, something that previous versions lacked. In addition, the Super Gesture usability has been improved along with NewsBites’ design.

Last but not least, the latest version of Maxthon features enhanced Quick Access design and performance, as well as support of SDCH protocol. No word on potential bug fixes that might have been included in the update, so we must assume the browser is bug-free for the moment.

You can now download Maxthon for Android 4.1.3.2000 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and later.
