Right-click menu crash eliminated, other fixes available

A serious crash problem derailed the development of Maxthon web browser from its regular course causing the release of a new build, 3.3.8.2000. Given the untimely roll-out of this update, the list of modifications is pretty short this time.

The problem that led to rolling out this revision is related to the right-click menu, but there are additional fixes available as well. For instance, opening PNG images would cause the download dialog to pop up.

Moreover, zooming into images did not work as programmed and some extensions would continue to run even after being disabled. Improvements in this build refer to download directory checking.

The development team hinted at a new beta release tomorrow, but there is no official confirmation on this one.

Maxthon browser is available here; it is also available as a portable download.
