14 DAY TRIAL // The cinematic action-shooter Max Payne is now available on iPhone and iPad. It is the game that introduced the concept of Bullet Time in videogames, and it now supports the iPhone 5 natively.
Thanks to its stylish slow-mo gunplay and a twisted storyline, Max Payne is one of the most original titles ever to take on the action-shooter genre.
iDevice owners have been downloading it like crazy, but not all of them have had a perfect experience. Some have complained that the game doesn’t display full-screen on their iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5th-gen hardware, while others have reported instability with the app (i.e. crashes).
For these customers, Rockstar Games is pleased to announce that Max Payne Mobile version 1.2 is here with iPhone 5 widescreen support and several stability and bug fixes.
Requirements include iOS 4.2 or later. The game is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad.
