Xbox 360 owners should start clearing some space for the title update

Xbox 360 owners should start clearing up some space on their hard drives, as the newest patch for Battlefield 3 occupies a whopping 2.07GB, bringing a variety of improvements, as well as adding the necessary files for the Back to Karkand expansion, which just appeared for the Microsoft platform, after being released last week on the PlayStation 3.

Battlefield 3 was released back in October and already received quite a few patches across all of its platforms, including the PC, PS3 or Xbox 360.

Now, just as the Back to Karkand expansion is appearing on the Microsoft console, DICE also posted a special patch that adds the necessary files for the DLC, as well as plenty of improvements to the regular single-player and multiplayer modes of the first person shooter.

The new title update for Battlefield 3 on the Xbox 360 weighs in at 2.07GB, while the actual Back to Karkand expansion occupies just 108KB, as Eurogamer has already pointed up, so it’s pretty obvious that DICE packed in the four new maps, the new vehicles, weapons and achievements from the DLC in the patch.

Besides the Back to Karkand content, the patch also brings plenty of other changes to the single-player and multiplayer modes, which you can check out below.

Single Player Changes

Balance Changes
