Malwarebytes Anti-Malware already was a great, sturdy product, and proof of this are the millions of downloads and high user rating all over the Internet. As such, its latest version, 1.60, does not come with too many fixes. Improvements, on the other hand, are plenty.

On the list of stuff newly introduced in this build there is a new technology (Malwarebytes Chameleon), which is designed to keep the application running even if an infection attempts to block it. Paying customers also get incremental updates and the ability to protect the settings of key programs with a password.

Enhancements touch on stability and performance, detection and removal engine, Delete On Reboot technology, error messages, log formats and scheduled updates.

Repairs in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.60 include correct updating of the database on Czech installations of Microsoft Windows. Scans failing to complete under certain circumstances have also been fixed.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - the best program, which I had to use to detect and remove malware.
It helped where anti-virus software with cool names were useless.
Thank you!
