If you’re a big fan of Apple’s work and use a Mac at home or at the office, chances are you have MacTracker installed. Ian Page has updated his little brainchild to include new information on obsolete products, as well as other changes.

MacTracker is a free (donationware) reference tool which includes a vast database spanning three decades of Apple product releases, including software and hardware.

If you want to know what gadgets were released at a certain time, MacTracker’s handy timeline can help. If you want to learn every bit of information about a certain Macintosh model, a mouse, or a keyboard, the free app is everything you need.

As its name implies, MacTracker also keeps track of discontinued products, and version 7.1.5 adds some more vintage and obsolete items to the Support Status section.

“Other minor changes and additions,” are also included, but Ian Page doesn’t feel like elaborating on these changes.
