LinkedIn version 7.1.1 is out today for users with iOS devices with the purpose of delivering some code corrections and performance enhancements.

According to LinkedIn Corporation, LinkedIn 7.1.1 for iPhone and iPad contains “bug fixes and performance enhancements,” but nothing specific is being outlined.

However, a quick trip to the app’s iTunes Store page reveals that some users have been complaining about the app running extremely slow in some circumstances. For others it would crash on a regular basis.

These problems don’t seem to be tied to a specific device configuration (i.e. an old handset or an old firmware model), which means every existing user is encouraged to download LinkedIn 7.1.1 and see if this new version works better. Fingers crossed!

The requirements remain unchanged: any iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad with iOS 6.0 (or later) installed and, of course, a LinkedIn account. The app supports various different languages.
