An updated flavor of the LinkedIn application is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices out there, providing them with an enhanced experience and with brand-new features.

Following the installation of this new app iteration, users will see that it is much easier to edit their profiles from within the app, courtesy of a simple guided editing experience.

Additionally, the new application release will provide users with the possibility to see who viewed their profiles, while also offering info on what they have in common with those who visited their pages.

Additionally, Android users will be able to check out their favorite schools’ pages directly from the app, the available release notes reveal.

“We’re excited to announce the redesigned profile on the LinkedIn app – to help you showcase your story for more opportunities,” LinkedIn explains.

The new profile will enable users to easily tell their story to other professionals. Moreover, users will be informed on what is missing from their profiles, so that they can complete them.

One other thing that should be noted is the fact that the new LinkedIn Profile has been released on Mobile devices first. Apparently, 43 percent of LinkedIn users are accessing the service from mobile devices.

You can download the new LinkedIn for Android application from the Google Play store.
