14 DAY TRIAL // LimeWire X is a free P2P file-sharing program that uses the Java platform to locate files, as well as share files. It is one of the few solutions of its kind for the Mac, and it’s compatible with all major platforms. The program’s open source code was developed (in part) by a devoted programmer community. The release notes also reveal that the 'View File info' now includes additional information in Transfers for file downloads including whether the download is encrypted (the lock icon). Notable fixes include a resolved Windows crash when closing the LimeWire Media Player while playing a video, and corrected behavior on launch for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).
