14 DAY TRIAL // LibreOffice 4.1.2 RC1 is now available for download, bringing lots of improvements on all platforms, including Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Basically, this new release was specifically created for fixing bugs, so it addresses issues with user dictionaries, DOCX exporting, editing, unexpected crashes, CSV import, VoiceOver, and Chinese conversion. The full list of improvements can be found here.
As far as Windows is concerned, the new LibreOffice version is supposed to work on all of them, so you should basically be able to install it on XP, Vista, 7, and 8, regardless of whether you are running the 32- or the 64-bit build of the operating system.
Keep in mind, however, that 4.1.2 RC1 is still a pre-release build, so a number of bugs might still be experienced on any of the aforementioned platforms.
