Kaspersky released a new version for PURE security suite that brings to the table major features and improvements.

The company added Safe Money to the suite, a component designed to ensure protection of online financial transactions like banking and shopping.

They improved protection against keyloggers through securing keyboard input and preventing interception of the information at the keyboard (available for Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome).

Furthermore, the Virtual Keyboard launch button is now automatically added to password input fields when logging into an online account.

Since vulnerabilities in software installed on the system represent an important attack vector lately, Kaspersky PURE 3.0 (fully compatible with Windows 8) improved the System Watcher component with protection against exploits.

Further improvements available in this release touch on the Password Manager, which allows synchronization of the database across multiple devices. Moreover, overall impact on system performance has been reduced (improves boot time and startup of installed applications).

Kaspersky PURE 3.0 also brings to the table better heuristic analysis when checking websites for phishing and a simplified installation procedure. The highlights for this release are available on this page.
