A new flavor of the KakaoTalk application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone devices, namely version 1.9.0.

Offering support for both Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.5 devices, the new application release arrives with a variety of bug fixes packed inside, as well as with better performance capabilities than before, it seems.

For those out of the loop, we should note that KakaoTalk provides users with the possibility to easily send and receive unlimited texts, photos, videos and audios to other users for free, over both WiFi and 3G networks (though a data plan is required when on mobile networks).

The app also features group chatting capabilities, and requires no signing in. Users will simply have to download and install it, and enter their number to get started.

KakaoTalk 1.9.0 for Windows Phone can be downloaded from this page on Softpedia.
