At the start of the 2007 patching season, Microsoft released a total of four security bulletins addressing 10 vulnerabilities spread across Windows and Office. Microsoft updated the initial security
bulletins release list by scraping four security patches. The first security bulletins in 2007 were released on January 9. You can read additional information related to these patches and the vulnerabilities they resolve via this link.

Following the initial release, the Redmond Company has now made available the January 2007 Security Releases ISO Image containing only a part of the security updates released on January 9.

"This ISO-9660 CD image file contains the security updates for Windows released on Windows Update on January 9th, 2007. It does not contain security updates for other Microsoft products. This CD image is intended for corporate administrators who manage large multinational organizations, who need to download multiple individual language versions of each security update and who do not use an automated solution such as WSUS. Use this image to download multiple updates in all languages at the same time," revealed Microsoft.

The ISO-9660 CD image file contains only the security update for Windows, namely KB929969 / (MS07-004). According to data released by the Redmond Company, the security update offers the following:

- Windows Server 2003 - 18 languages
- Windows Server 2003 for Itanium-based Systems - 4 languages

- Windows 2000 - 24 languages
