Chair Entertainment Group is upping the ante on its already visually immersive Infinity Blade II by releasing a new version that boasts updated graphics for the new iPad.

Infinity Blade II version 1.0.3 adds “high-resolution support for the New iPad,” according to its makers. The game has been heavily promoted as a landmark for iOS gaming, and the new Retina-grade graphics should only make it even more appealing.

The visually stunning game has received accolades from numerous gaming publications thanks to its robust and dynamic 3D world, unique styles of combo, and character customization.

“Explore beautiful and immersive environments that dynamically change over time during your travels and venture to exotic locations such as the Asian themed Saydhi’s Estate or the medieval inspired Vault of Tears featuring multiple paths to explore,” says Chair.

“Create and forge even more powerful weapons with mystical objects you discover and collect along your journey, expanding your overall arsenal with all-new elemental powers & capabilities!”, the development studio adds.

The updated game also adds Russian, Dutch, Swedish, Portuguese, and Brazilian Portuguese language support. The change log for this new version includes a teaser from Chair Entertainment regarding their upcoming release of Infinity Blade II: ClashMobs.

A universal app, Infinity Blade II works on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad, iPad 2, the New iPad, iPod touch 3rd-generation (16 GB and above), or iPod touch 4th generation.

“Delve deeper into the fantastical story of Infinity Blade as your journey leads you to the realm of the mysterious Deathless Saydhi and discover the truth about the Worker of Secrets and the powers he holds,” reads the iTunes description.

Players experiencing technical issues with the app are told to visit the Infinity Blade II support page here.

Chair recommends that you update your device to the latest iOS version for the best gaming experience, while parents can turn off In-App purchasing in the iOS settings.
