Microsoft is offering users not only the plain-vanilla variant of Internet Explorer 9 RTW, but also an enhanced version, tailored to Bing and MSN. Customers that spend a lot of time on MSDN and that prefer the Redmond company’s Bing decision engine to rival search engines can grab a special copy of the IE9 RTW optimized for Bing and MSN.

“Why? Because you can have it all” is the slogan under which downloads of IE9 RTW enhanced for Bing and MSN are offered to the public.

Of course, this particular copy of IE9 was customized to have Bing as the default search engine and MSN as the homepage.

“What does this mean for you? Bing and MSN get even better with IE9. Search Bing directly from the IE9 One Box and make faster more informed choices,” revealed Kindra Mason, from the Bing team.

“You will also be able to easily stay in the know with MSN every time you open IE9. Pin both sites to your Windows 7 taskbar for instant access to your favorite content within each site.”

According to Mason, customers in additional markets around the world will be getting the special MSN and Bing version of IE9 in the immediate future.

But wouldn’t it be nice for users in non-US markets to also get the full Bing search experience just like those in the United States as well? Perhaps Microsoft should look more into that.

“For those of you in international markets, Internet Explorer 9 enhanced with Bing and MSN will be rolling out to over 50 international markets in the next few weeks,” Manson added.

According to the software giant, some 2.3 million downloads of IE9 RTW went to users in just the first 24 hours after launch.

“Over 40 million people downloaded the Beta version of IE9 and already 250 top sites and over 1000 other partners from around the globe have taken advantage of IE9 capabilities to deliver differentiated experiences to their customers. Internet Explorer 9 is the best browser for Windows. It is all-around fast, integrates with Windows 7, and lets your favorite web sites shine,” Mason said.
