IE7 pro is an add-on for Internet Explorer 7 that adds nuances to the Microsoft browser introducing new features, enhancing security and additional customization. The latest version of the add-on, IE7pro v 0.9.5 was released on January 8, 2007.

As you can see from the image on the bottom, after installation, IE7 Pro can be accessed via a button in the right hand side menu that contains the Home Pages, right under the Search Box. According to the developer, IE7 Pro offers a resolve for a browser bug related to unsupported URL schema and introduces support for proxy setup exception list.

When executing IE7 Pro a pop-up menu will be displayed containing three submenus: Settings, Ad Filter and Super Drag and Drop. Via the settings menu, IE7 Pro enables users to control Tab behavior, closing and opening Tabs on double click, and to swap the status of the Tab history manager. From the IE7 Pro's settings menu users are able to view the Top IE menu and to hide the Search Box that is integrated by default in the browser's interface.

The Ad Filter menu contains an option to enable and disable the Ad filter that is the added security provided by IE7 Pro. The Super Drag and Drop permits users not only to open links by dragging and dropping them, but also to fast save images by using a combination of drag and drop and the Shift key.
