If there's one thing that you can say about Blizzard games is that they always look and sound great, and no matter what gripes you might have with the mechanical side of the gameplay, the feel is always very polished and creates a memorable experience.

The company definitely has some very talented artists working on producing content that is always top notch, from beautiful static illustrations, and convincing and seamless animations, up to the entrancing musical scores its creations are regaled with.

As such, even Hearthstone, no matter its much smaller scope when compared to other monumental Blizzard creations, has also received the full attention of the company's master composers, Peter McConnell, Jason Hayes and Eric Dodds.

The card-battling game has a generally whimsical and relaxing score, which suits the material at hand just right, sending a nod to World of Warcraft's tavern themes.

All the tunes have a very low-key essence about them that makes them pleasant to hear for longer periods of time, without making your ears hurt, and are very subtle in the manner in which they portray the action, always keeping in mind the playful nature of the card game.

The best thing about Hearthstone's soundtrack is that it's offered completely free of charge on the game's website, along with some majestic pieces of concept artwork and Hearthstone's iconic wallpaper.
