Download HBO GO 1.8 for iPhone and iPad

Home Box Office Inc. has released HBO GO 1.8 for iPhone and iPad, a new version of their streaming service which now offers support for closed captions.

Customers may still experience some issues, even though the app has just received maintenance. For example, the HBO GO app could close or crashe after upgrading to version 1.8. Users are instructed to “uninstall and immediately re-install the app. This should resolve the issue,” says Home Box Office Inc.

HBO GO is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 4.2 or later. The universal HBO GO app is designed for both iPhone and iPad.
