Rockstar Games has confirmed that a brand new patch for Grand Theft Auto 5 is now available for download, in the form of update 1.13, also known as the High Life one, as it introduces new real estate options, new cars, vehicles, Rockstar-made jobs, and plenty of new mechanics to the GTA Online multiplayer.

Grand Theft Auto 5 delighted millions of PS3 and Xbox 360 owners worldwide back in September of last year and, since then, developer Rockstar has brought forth a huge amount of different free updates for the game, in order to fix different bugs but also add plenty of new content.

The latest one is the High Life update, aka patch 1.13, which brings forth a lot of brand new things to enjoy in GTA Online, according to the Rockstar Newswire.

First up, there are five new apartments for players to purchase, in the form of Eclipse Towers in Vinewood, Richards Majestic in Rockford Hills, Tinsel Towers in Little Seoul, 4 Integrity Way in Downtown, and Del Perro Heights.

Players are also able to store vehicles across the garages of two apartments, and there are three new luxury cars and a great bike included in the new update, in the form of the Enus Huntley S (SUV), Dewbauchee Massacro (Sports), Pegassi Zentorno (Super), and Dinka Thrust (Motorcycle).

A brand new weapon, the Bullpup Rifle, is also available in Ammu-Nation stores in-game.

Rockstar has also included in the new update a series of brand new missions made by its team, including eight Contact jobs. They'll go live later today, however, once the Rockstar Social Club website gets updated with the new content.

A few more fresh mechanics are also added by the patch to the game, like a Metal State stat, which will grade players on how much of a danger they are to others and show them on the map with bright red dots. Those with white dots are considered safe and won't immediately try to kill others on sight.

Races can now sport a non-contact option, which will show competing vehicles as ghosts with which a player can't interact.

"Non-Contact Races are now an option. When you create a Non-Contact race, other racers appear as semi-transparent and collisions with them are disabled (although you'll still be able to collide with non-player traffic, structures and other scenery)."

You can also spectate a friend's adventures in GTA 5 and use fresh celebrations, like jazz hands, not to mention don new clothing.

The new GTA 5 patch 1.13 is now available for download on PS3 and Xbox 360.
