14 DAY TRIAL // Grand Theft Auto 4 mods have delivered some of the most impressive and outlandish creations for quite some time, but now it seems that another project has appeared to take the proverbial crown, as a team of users have recreated Watch Dogs, the open world game from Ubisoft, in the open world game from Rockstar.
GTA 4 appeared many years ago, and while it first launched just for PS3 and Xbox 360, it eventually made its way onto the PC, where ambitious users were able to create mods for the game and transform it into all sorts of new experiences. From stunningly realistic visuals, to wacky skins and models for protagonist Niko, lots of new things were added into the game.
Now, a new mod has just surfaced and it aims at recreating Watch Dogs, the recent open world action adventure game from Ubisoft, inside GTA 4.
The WatchDogsIV mod, as you can see in the video below, is practically a genuine replica of Watch Dogs, complete with the hacking mechanics, the ability to tap into surveillance cameras, and even when it comes to shooting and combat.
While it's unable to generate information about pedestrians on the fly, just like in Watch Dogs, the mod is really well done, especially coupled with the protagonist model that looks like Aiden Pearce.
