The new release allows users to sign in to Google from within the app

An updated flavor of Google’s Search application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone 8 devices, namely version 2.0.295.80.

The new app iteration provides users with the possibility to sign in to their Google accounts straight from the software, while also offering better Google Image viewing.

At the same time, the new release will instantly display voice commands on the screen on Windows Phone 8 devices, the available release notes unveil. Google for Windows Phone also received a series of bug fixes and various resolution enhancements in the new flavor.

With this app on their smartphones, Windows Phone 8 users will be able to easily search by voice, search nearby places without having to type their location, and enjoy prediction for a faster search.
