Fans of Google’s online services can now sign in using Google Maps to see flight, hotel, and restaurant reservations from Gmail, according to an update pushed out by the search giant this week.

Google Maps version 2.5.0 is available for download from the iTunes App Store for iPhone and iPad with the new ability to sign in and see your flight, hotel, and restaurant reservations from Gmail.

The new version also comes with some bug fixes for anyone experiencing trouble with the navigation app.

As usual, customers should note that some features are not available in all countries, so it’s your job to check with the product description in your specific territory and see what you’re getting.

For newcomers, the Google Maps app offers the following features on iOS devices.

• Comprehensive, accurate maps in 200 countries • Voice-guided GPS navigation for driving, biking, and walking • Transit directions and maps for over 800 cities • Live traffic and incident reports • Detailed information on more than 100 million places • Street View and indoor imagery for restaurants, museums, and more

Download Google Maps 2.5.0 for any iDevice running iOS 6. The app is supported in over a dozen different languages and weighs in at 11MB.
