With added long-press numbers to the top row of the tablet layout

A new flavor of the Google Keyboard application is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices, namely version 1.1.

The new application release arrives on slates powered by Google’s mobile operating system with long-press numbers added to the top row of the tablet layout.

Furthermore, the new iteration of the software brings along tuned keyboard layouts for some languages, the available release notes unveil. At the same time, Google Keyboard 1.1 for Android was packed with various bug fixes and stability improvements, it seems.

Google Keyboard might not be one of the best input applications available for Android, but it is certainly one of the most used ones, capable of offering smart and easy text typing capabilities.

“Glide through letters with Gesture Typing – just lift to finish a word, no spacebar required. Compose notes on-the-go with Voice Typing,” the app’s description reads.
