Google Earth received a minor update over the weekend. The new version is 7.0.3.8542 and includes only fixes and improvements.

The fresh Google Earth can handle SSL certificate revocation errors appropriately. On systems with certain Radeon GPUs, the image and polygon overlays have been improved.

Stability improvements are also on the list and should be noticed by users that run GeForce 6xxx and 7xxx cards as well as by those that run the application for longer periods of time.

Further changes in this release refer to lighting of Diorama buildings in OGL, which should be done correctly. On the same note, the problem with balloons flickering when playing tours has been resolved.

Some issues still remain in Google Earth and the developer is well aware of them. For instance, water surfaces around coast lines flicker, but the issue is corrected when zooming. Check the full log on this page.
