Google has released a new version of its Drive app for iPhone and iPad users, adding new features and a bunch of fixes.

Google Drive on iOS now includes the option to open links in Chrome and Safari. Just click on any link within your files and you’ll be instantly presented with a prompt to choose one of the two browsers to launch the web page.

You can now insert rows and columns using the “+” button in Google Sheets, and the update also includes stabilization and bug fixes, according to the search giant in Mountain View, California.

Google Drive 1.5.0 is a free download for anyone using an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch 3rd generation, iPod touch 4th generation, iPod touch 5th generation or an iPad. The software requires iOS 5.0 or later and is optimized for the iPhone 5.
