Drive, the popular cloud service from Google, is getting better and better with every update, and this time isn’t any different.

Google this week released a major update for users of its Drive application on iOS devices, bringing the service to version 2.0.0 with a number of aesthetic tweaks and new functionality.

Google Drive 2.0.0 has a “brand new design,” offers thumbnail previews for files and photos, includes an option to toggle between a new grid view and list view, and includes ‘Get Link’ to give you the link to a file.

Of course, this functionality has been available in Dropbox for like forever, but it’s better late than never, as they say.

Google Drive is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 6.0 or later.
