Google has released a new Dev version for their web browser, incrementing the build number to 19.0.1084.9. The new revision is available for all supported platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame.

Apart from fixes, the set of changes also includes an update for the JavaScript engine, to build 3.9.24.7. Performance and stability improvements are a given with each release, but this version of V8 also enables snapshots on MIPS-based devices and comes with activated count-based profiler for ARM.

Repairs in this release of the web browser eliminate a few crash bugs on Windows and Mac, but also tackle an issue that affected the search in the “Settings” tab. Typing a keyword after deleting a previous one would cause the most recent entry to change to the first character of the first keyword.
