The latest version contains new fixes, but also a few known issues

It’s been only a week since Google updated the beta version of its Chrome browser for Android devices and the search giant has just released a new update.

According to developers, the following changes have been included in this update:

- 225243: Links opened from other applications that do redirects do not load; - 232878: Video play icon not aligned properly on nbcnews.com; - 235755: Fullscreen tab cropped in tab switcher.

Aside from the new fixes detailed above, Google has also addressed some crash-related issues, which have yet to be detailed. There are still some known issues in this beta version of Chrome:

- Embedded videos may be jittery on ICS devices; - Typed character gets deleted sometimes on password fields.

Chrome Beta 27.0.1453.74 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up. Check it out here.
