The beta iteration of Google Chrome for Android has received a new update and is available for download as version 33.0.1750.93 at the moment.

The updated mobile browser comes with a variety of fixes packed inside, including one that resulted in wired.com loading as a brank page, the available release notes unveil.

The app also resolves an issue with a Chrome Beta SSL Error during Google search, along with one resulting in overlay full-screen video player getting stuck at spinner.

The changelog for the new app version shows fixes for the following issues as well:

“- Tapping omnibox during cold start causes overlapping icons in toolbar - Infobars don't appear on pre-rendered pages - Display name not calculated correctly for content uploads - [M33/34] URL disappears for few seconds from the omnibox after committing - Flicker when switching tabs with impl-side painting.”

The application still features a series of known issues, being unable to clear search input from chrome://history, and showing heavy scroll flickering on ICS IMG devices.

You can download Chrome Beta for Android from Softpedia today. The application requires Android 4.0 and up to work.
