Following the release of Chrome 34 Stable featuring default Ok Google search, the Mountain View Internet giant immediately released a development snapshot of the upcoming major version of the browser for Mac, Windows, and Linux testing environments.

Targeting developers and amateur testers who love sifting through the software looking for bugs, Google Chrome 35.0.1916.27 Dev was officially announced by Karen Grünberg on the Chrome Releases blog on April 8.

“The Dev Channel has been updated to 35.0.1916.27 for Windows, Mac and Linux. This release fixes a large crash. A full list of changes is available in the SVN log,” writes Grünberg.

The update fixes draggable regions on for frame:none app window on views, according to the official changelog. The SVN revision log states, “This was broken recently with a change that assumed the draggable regions are static.”

Chrome 34 is the build recommended for day-to-day use. It brings responsive Images and Unprefixed Web Audio, the ability to import supervised users onto new computers, some new apps/extension APIs, a different look for Windows 8 Metro mode, and stability and performance improvements. Both Chrome 34 and Chrome 35 can be downloaded from the links supplied below.
