Google today offers a new development snapshot of its Chrome web browser for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux computers, dealing a heavy blow to some of the latest discovered bugs and crashes.

Karen Grünberg of the Google Chrome team writes on the Google Chrome Releases blog that “The Dev Channel has been updated to 35.0.1870.2 for Windows, Mac and Linux.”

According to Grünberg, “This release fixes a number of crashes and other bugs,” while the full list of tweaks and code corrections can be found in the SVN log, as usual.

Commenters on the Dev Channel are already reporting some unpatched flaws, such as the browser’s inability to launch a Google search when users right-click a context and select “Search with Google.” This apparently happens on OS X 10.9.2, the latest version of Apple’s Mavericks operating system.

Others report a non-functional Google Now and some graphical twitches when sending the app into full-screen mode. The requirements remain unchanged, and readers can download the latest Chrome Dev builds at the links below, as usual. For work-related tasks it is recommended that users grab a Stable version of the browser.
