Google has deployed an updated version of its Chrome 34 Stable browser featuring the new Flash Player 13.0.0.214 update that contains security fixes. Users on Windows and Mac are especially encouraged to update, while a Linux build of the browser is also available.

The announcement is made official by Daniel Xie over at the Chrome Releases blog: “The Stable Channel has been updated to 34.0.1847.137 for Windows, Mac and Linux. This release also contains a Flash Player update, to version 13.0.0.214.”

On May 13, Adobe released Flash Player 13.0.0.214 for Windows and Mac OS X, and Flash Player 11.2.202.359 for Linux.

According to the Adobe advisory, “These updates address vulnerabilities that could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. Adobe recommends users update their product installations to the latest versions.” Users who prefer only to update their Flash installation can do so without downloading Chrome.

The Google Chrome 34.0.1847.137 release also “fixes a number of crashes and other bugs,” according to Xie. As usual, the download links for all supported platforms await below. The requirements for Mac users are OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), Intel only.
